It takes a village and the support that we offer families goes way beyond just birth and postpartum doula support. The bolded offerings below are services that are usually outside of the scope of a typical doula package but we view these as essential for expecting families and new parents- it is important to build community and feel educated during such a special and wild time.
Vickie and Rachel are very experienced doulas and have collectively attended over 260+ births and have supported over 450+ families.
Birth + Postpartum Doula Services with Vickie and Rachel
Vickie and Rachel’s Birth Doula Services Package is $3,200 (sliding scale is available) and includes:
Two virtual prenatal visits (1-2 hours each) to discuss birth preferences & vision, explore childbirth prep, techniques for labor comfort/coping and create a postpartum plan
Text/email/phone support throughout pregnancy to answer any questions or offer support
For the pregnant parent: Bi-weekly prenatal support circle from the time of hire AND weekly new parent support group (through the first 5 months postpartum)
A 2-hour group Lactation and Feeding Class (taught over Zoom by my doula partner, Rachel Andre) to be taken prenatally
24 hr. on-call support from 38 weeks until the birth
Continuous informational, emotional and physical support from the time you call the on-call doula to join you in labor until 1-2 hours after baby is born
One in-person postpartum visit (1-2 hours) to process the birth experience, support newborn care, feeding and the transition home, answer any questions & discuss if other resources are necessary (pelvic floor therapy, body work, counseling, etc).
Aixa’s Birth Doula Services Package is $1,750 and includes:
